We desire what we can't have all the time. We easily desire the impossible. I'd like to suggest that we need to rework our desires into needs so that we get what we desire.
You would VALUE what you NEED.
What is VALUABLE is what is NEEDED.
If you'd pay for it in a second, it's probably because you need it.
"Do you need X?"
Even figuring out what we need is valuable to us. We need to figure out what we need. So when we get a gentle suggestion about what we might need and are given an opportunity to think about it and then say to ourselves, *hmmm... maybe... yeah... what have you got?" then we get into the cycle of commitment...
Beyond DESIRE.
a GOAL is in your CONTROL.
You are unalterably committed to your GOAL because you understand that you have the ABILITY to achieve it.
A desire is something you want that circumstances or other people must give you. You cannot be responsible for what you desire because it is not in your total control.
You'll need ABILITIES to get GOALS.
See your GOAL as a function of ABILITIES YOU WILL NEED.
desire is insufficient yet necessary...
All the desiring in the world won't get you what you want unless you make it your GOAL to DO what might lead to what you desire.
You DESIRE outcomes.
It isn't in your control so you shoot for the moon when you list what you desire...
desire is a NOTIFICATION.
We are alerted towards where we ought to work towards by our desires. we feel pleasure thinking about our desires. it's motivating.
however it does not imply that we have the ABILITY to get them.
What's the PLAN?
Ultimately all brainstorms lead to some kind of PLAN.
The PLAN is a SERIES of surprising things that you do... Things you've never done before, and maybe nobody has ever done before..
