But even a telephone call is always interactive between two people who might just end up bonding. You forget that time is passing because you’ve bonded. But doing it solo is a bit like the composition experience in a word processor. It’s a miraculous process. But talking is so much easier than typing about it.
Podcasting meets the phone call – as easy as picking up the phone. You just pick it up and there’s no judgement. You’re just saying whatever comes to mind.
If you’re a student and you have an essay to write, personally I would talk it up and then type it up afterwards. Talking comes from the body, not just the mind. Then you can take it into a word processor and make an essay.
Conversation is how human society started; we talked to each other. When you go beyond talking about immediate needs and get past small talk, you get this PROFOUND ALCHEMY where you’re just coming up with concepts into blank space.
There is tremendous potential inside people when they speak. There are brand new opportunities when people start talking. It’s automatic to be able to speak. This lets you do so spontaneously.
Silence is why you’re stuck in your cocoon in the Matrix. The System can talk, and you can’t. You have nothing to say? You have to get on some stupid selfie video to say anything so you don’t do it.
When you type, you have to make sure your grammar and spelling are perfect. When speaking none of this applies.. You just keep going forward; you don’t go backwards and correct yourself to think twice about what you just said. It’s incredibly liberating once you get the hang of it because you just keep going. You forget about a minute ago and live in the moment.
Talking blows through the vacuum because it breaks the silence. Why not make your TED talk without having to be on stage. Say what you want to say.
People might not like the sound of their own voices. Maybe they think it is awkward to hear themselves but I love it. People should be able to say things.
Discover what you are really good at, and then ask yourself if you unknowingly overplay that strong point to the detriment of everything else. If you focus only on your strengths, you may be short-changing the areas that you really need to focus upon to better yourself.
The sound is all provided by the mainstream. The worst music industry of all time is a product of capitalist ownership. TV and celebrities and idiots who make terrible viral videos – they are all wasting your time and they should be seen as the spammers that they are.
Nobody is talking. Nobody has anything to say. Your selfie videos are stupid and so you have given up on that. Amateur video is mostly annoying. If you’re a baby you can facetime me. It’s totally irresponsible of the social world to remain silent.
Twitter is just way more free for free speech. It’s like you can have a tweetstorm and it make sense. But not on facebook, that wouldn’t work. If I want a cycle of addiction to happen, grab the mike and go and then do it again, it won’t happen on facebook. Thanks for the free viceo hosting but twitter is what’s good for that.
If you were to take the time to transcribe this tape you could generate a whole page of words that were totally original. The content is out there. It’s in your minds. I want to hear it. I want to access that potential, the amazing potential of the human voice. May it become manifest. I want there to be a popular podcasting platform.
I have to get new specifications written up. I am going to abandon the Facebook logo that has been on the share button for so long. That logo makes me go," I don't want to post this to Facebook!" It is good to make checklist because then that I can relax and then work on other things.
The mistake often made is to look outside of ourselves for goal setting: "What goal should I aim for?"
Every single person that gets my app for the first time Will be able to use it to do everything they want to do with your voice the major limitation is that the messages sent for users will be short. Nevertheless, that is the way you sell the $1 per month upgrade all the power and having them learn all the tools. They will experience the power of "audio with a photo" in contrast to making videos.
